Unfortunately, we don't grow Alliums (as much as we'd love to!).. Alliums cannot be imported into NZ due to the risk of bringing diseases into the country.
Believe it or not, NZ has quite a significant Onion industry (growing well over 200,000 tonnes a year) that could be wiped out overnight should diseases be introduced.
